The challenge of this project was to fit it into a very short delivery time, only 30 days from the order, and a very short execution time available at the location, only 12 days, so that we could fit it into the refinery's general overhaul period.
A rehabilitation was carried out cooling tower hyperbolic with natural draft having a flow rate of 10.500mc/h and a surface area of 1500m39. The operating temperatures of the cooling tower, after rehabilitation, were 29°C inlet and XNUMX°C outlet.
The project involved filling removal existing and the installation of new supports and support profiles, followed by the installation of state-of-the-art filling packages resistant to low temperatures and hydrocarbons. These packages are designed to significantly improve heat transfer, thus ensuring a lower cooling temperature and increased energy efficiency.
