The self-cleaning VTO filters, equipped with suction pads, operate automatically at a maximum pressure of 10 bar. They offer a filtration range from 10 to 2.000 microns and support flow rates between 30 and 600 m³/h.
Description
VTO are self-cleaning mesh filters with a stainless steel body, designed for water containing small solids, including colloidal particles. The inner “sandwich” filter cartridge consists of two tubular stainless steel meshes (AISI 316L, DUPLEX SAF 2205 or TITAN) with an intermediate polyester filter fabric, providing a filtration range from 2.000 to 10 μm.
The cleaning process uses the principle of "suction scanning", where special suction pads mounted on a roto-translational PVC shaft, driven by a 230 VAC electric motor with a gearbox, remove impurities and direct them to the drain.
Each VTO filter is supplied with an automation unit, which includes a differential pressure switch, an electronic control unit, an exhaust unit with a hydraulic PACV valve and three pressure gauges.
During cleaning, the VTO filter ensures a continuous flow, requires a minimum inlet pressure of 1.5 bar and minimizes both time and water consumption.
The VTO filter has a cleaning system that ensures non-stop flow and is equipped with a differential pressure kit. An optional configuration allows the use of potable water. It is suitable for various applications including industrial, municipal, HVAC/R, desalination, seawater treatment and wastewater treatment.
