High energy efficiency

The PLUS evaporative cooling of FXVS cooling towers includes a combined heat transfer system for low energy consumption of the entire system. This BAC patented technology ensures unmatched heat rejection efficiency with extremely low power consumption.

Axial fans use half the energy required by similar models equipped with centrifugal fans. The Bacross II fill is configured at the factory for ideal water/air transfer and minimal pressure drop, guaranteeing optimal cooling tower efficiency.

Low maintenance and easy inspection

Inspection and maintenance of the cooling tower is carried out safely, with unparalleled comfort inside. FXVS towers have a spacious interior area and easy access for inspection/maintenance.

Access to the inside of the tower is achieved by means of a large door, and the optional internal platform does not require the removal of water from the pool for inspection of the interior of the unit. Inspection of the water distribution system (hot water basin and nozzles) is possible from outside the unit, even when the tower is in operation.

Easy to inspect coil during operation both externally and internally via removable drop separators.

The optional sump cover prevents dirt from accumulating in the unit.

Easy to inspect the stuffing from the inside and through the removable air intake grills from the outside.

The patented Bacross II filler reduces dirt and is supported by telescopic supports, allowing full inspection of the filler without disassembly.

Self-cleaning cold water basin and filling it above the inclined basin to wash away dirt and debris.

The fans are easily accessible from both inside and outside.

The optional cleaning port helps remove sludge and debris from the cooling tower basin.

Removable anti-vortex suction filter cover.

Make-up, drain and overflow easily accessible for inspection and cleaning.

Excellent hygiene control

FXVS towers are easy to clean and inspect reducing the risk of bacteria (eg Legionella) or biofilm inside the cooling tower.

The patented Bacross II filler reduces dirt and is supported by telescopic supports, allowing full inspection of the filler without disassembly.

Air intake grilles prevent sunlight from entering the tower to prevent biological growth in the tower, filter the air and stop water splashing outside.

High-efficiency droplet separators prevent water droplets from reaching the air. Their performance is tested and certified by Eurovent.

The optional cleaning port helps remove sludge and debris from the cooling tower basin.

The optional piping system with ejector nozzles helps remove dirt from the pool and prevents sediment from collecting in the cold water pool.

The thermal performance of the FXVS cooling tower is CTI-Eurovent tested and certified.

Different corrosion-resistant materials are available, including Baltibond, a patented hybrid coating, to guarantee a long service life.

Ultra quiet design

FXVS models include low-noise axial fans for minimal noise emissions. For even greater sound reduction, Whisper Quiet fans can be chosen.

Silencers are factory designed, tested and rated and available on the air inlet side to further reduce operating noise.

Air intake on one side, the rear area being silent, ideal for installation in noise sensitive areas.

The BACross II filling guides the water smoothly into the pool without splashing noise.

Easy to install

FXVS cooling towers are factory built and delivered in multiple sections for larger models to reduce overall size and weight, allowing easy section assembly on site with smaller cranes.
