Thanks to an advanced design, COSMOTEC WPA industrial chillers offer reliable performance in a wide operational spectrum, adapting to both environmental variables and those imposed by the user's processes.
Description
The COSMOTEC WPA air-cooled chiller is also available with integrated Free Cooling. It is an ideal solution for applications requiring high coolant temperatures, such as the plastics industry or data centers. Installation in cold or temperate climates (down to -20°C) allows the use of outside air for fluid cooling. This can lead to the compressors being completely switched off and, consequently, to significant energy savings.
The COSMOTEC WPA air-cooled chiller offers extended operating limits. They are adaptable to a wide range of requirements, from ambient temperature and positioning, to noise level or fluid characteristics. Thanks to the modular construction and the multiple options available, the units can be configured for the most demanding industrial applications.
In very hot and dusty environments, the COSMOTEC WPA air-cooled chiller is equipped with metal filters to protect the condensers. It operates efficiently up to +55°C. The 100% cooling capacity is maintained up to +45°C. If the temperature rises, the compressors are kept active by the unloading function, without being switched off.
For extreme cold conditions, the COSMOTEC WPA air-cooled chiller has a closed compartment for compressors and heating elements. These protect the electrical panel, compressors, evaporator and hydraulic circuit. In the special version, Free Cooling operates down to -40°C.
High temperature water applications, such as in the plastics industry, benefit from a circuit adapted for high discharge temperatures. The compressor has extended operating limits and constant performance. For cold water, such as in the food, beverage or biogas industries, the COSMOTEC WPA air-cooled chiller offers low discharge temperatures, increased insulation and standard antifreeze.
