The YORK YHAU-CL/CH Single Effect Hot Water Actuated Absorption Chiller delivers efficiency and reliability by using innovative technology optimized for the use of waste heat at low temperatures.
Description
Common applications include comfort or cooling of industrial processes that use or recover waste heat from cogeneration (CHP) systems, industrial processes or other available heat sources.
YHAU-CL/CH has the unique ability to be used for applications where:
- The chilled water outlet temperature can be lowered to 1°C.
- The inlet temperature of the cooling water can be up to 37°C.
- The inlet temperature of the hot water temperature, heat source, can vary between 160°C and 70°C.
The high efficiency and unique effect YORK YHAU-CL/CH absorption refrigeration cycle uses water as the refrigerant and lithium bromide as the absorbent. It is the strong affinity and ease of separation these two substances have for each other that makes the cycle work. The entire process takes place in hermetic containers, in an almost complete vacuum.
